This is quick tip number 2 in our series of marketing for accountants guides.
An audience persona is a profile of your target client that describes them as though they are a real person. An audience persona is different to a target audience, this persona is your ideal client and considers the decisions they make before committing to a service.
A persona should include their name, age, gender, location, career, education, family, interests and the problems they face. Creating personas helps you to think of your clients as real people and makes it easier to shape your messaging and content to suit your target audience. You could have multiple audience personas. For example, one for a business owner and one for a property investor.
Action: Think about your target audiences and create a persona for each segment.
